I spent the weekend skiing in Saas Fee with Boris, Andrea and a bunch of Andreas girlfriends. As is the norm for Saas Fee we had a good time snowboarding AND partying!
Isabel spent two weeks in Thailand traveling with her parents and brother. I unfortunately couldn't come :-(
This is a mostly downhill hike from 2500 meters to 1000 meters altitude. Not hard on the lungs but it is hard on the legs. Downhill for 5 hours is not the easy. My legs hurt for the following three days!
Isabel and I did another hike in the Berner Oberland. This time in the Engstligen Alp ski area. It was a nice hike and I came back with a solid sun burn :-)
Isabel and I made an eventful hike up the Gastere Valley. Everything was going well until a thunderstorm hailed up us near the top... Luckily the storm quickly passed and we dried out :-)
Bob and I have often considered making this climb. It stands proudly over Chamonix and is just asking to be climbed. We were quite intimidated with the view from the cable car, but in the end it was a straight forward yet challenging climb.
This was a nice long fairly straight forward climb in the Jura mountains. Kris, Bob and I enjoyed ourselves.
